Run Like the Wind – Ellensburg, WA 2026

Welcome to Run Like The Wind Trail Running Festival! In collaboration with Puget Sound Energy, Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility and Run for Good Racing Company we present to you a 5K, 10K, and a free kids dash, woven along the trails, paths and roads of the majestic wind turbines outside of Ellensburg. These races will be challenging, most likely with a bit of wind, and more certainly with a lot of elevation gain and drop and a few tough trails, but gorgeous with views of Mt. Rainier, the Columbia River and the Eastern Washington plains. Get a guided tour of the wind farm either before or after your race and see the awesome power of the wind. Beer courtesy of Iron Horse Brewery, and great, homemade food await you at the finish line. Space is limited to 200 participants so sign up now and get your wind on!
