On April 30, 2026, Run the Nation takes place in the Berwyn-Ansley-Mason-Litchfield area of Nebraska at Spartan Nation. The event offers a wide range of distances to suit different runner profiles: a 1-mile option, a 2-mile race, and two ultramarathon distances of 50 miles and 100 miles. Entry fees range from $10 to $150 depending on the distance selected. The race starts at midnight, making it a unique early-morning event for those competing. With options spanning from a short 1-mile fun run to serious 100-mile ultras, this event accommodates both casual runners and experienced ultrarunners looking for a rural Nebraska running experience.

The Spartan Foundation supports everything SPARTAN. We truly believe it takes a village and, in our case, it takes several. We call this group of Spartan supporting villages: Spartan Nation. Spartan Nation spans nearly 25 miles. In an effort to keep Spartan Nation happy, healthy, and on the move; we are challenging you to Run the Nation this summer! Run the Nation participants will be required to log 25 miles of walking, running or both in each of the months of May, June, July, and August. These miles can be done on your own or with a friend. They can be done on your own time. You can run or walk anywhere you would like. Just log your miles on your Run the Nation log sheet. This year participants will be pledging their miles to the Community Food Pantry. 100 miles = $100 to our program. The Community Food Pantry is organized by the Spartan Foundation. It serves our communites through a monthly food bank and the weekend backpack program. We can't wait to Run the Nation with you!! #SpartanNation
