EDIT!! We have been given permission to sign up extra runners! But, they will not be able to run competitively and will not have a timing chip or shirt. Because of this, the discounted price is $30. You will still get an airshow wristband and a homemade bib, but will not have a timing chip. Wow! We've surpassed 250 runners ! We still have spots available, and all participants will receive a race bib and safety pins. However, shirts and sponsor swag bags have all been claimed and are not guaranteed for registrations received after June 22. Get ready to take off on a one-of-a-kind 5K experience! The Run the Runway 5K is Texarkana’s newest race—and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever run before. Hosted in conjunction with the Texarkana Airshow, this unique race gives participants the rare opportunity to race on an actual airport runway. Feel the thrill as you run where jets take off, with planes on display and aviation energy all around you! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just here for the incredible atmosphere, Run the Runway is for you.
