With a course that features the incredible architecture of Newburgh’s historic district and stunning Hudson River views, this community-centered race is fun for runners and non-runners of all ages. The Safe Harbors 5K is part of Spring Into Newburgh , a city-wide celebration of the season featuring the Art on the Block outdoor art market, Newburgh Farmers’ Market, and Wellness Shines on the Green, a festival highlighting local wellness vendors and free fitness classes throughout the day. Come for the run and stay for the fun! Registration Adults (19+): $35 in advance, $45 at event Youth 18 and Under: Free! Register by April 23 and receive a complimentary, limited edition 2026 Safe Harbors 5K shirt designed by Newburgh artist Steven Ciancanelli.
