The Scholar Sprint Races are a One Mile Fun Run, 5K and 10K . This race is sponsored by Argos Dollars for Scholars, and will start and finish in the Argos Community Park, Argos, IN. (Parking is located in the Park, Please use the South entrance into the park, State Road 10 entrance). T-shirts will be the premium giveaway Price increase when registering after June 5,2025 Online registration open until Friday, June 21, 2025 T-shirts not guaranteed after June 7 Fun Run will be a participation medal only, no T-shirts We will have water on the course, and water available at the race pavilion. Drinks, snacks and Awards ceremony following the event Awards: First and Second Place Medals: Male and Female for 5K & 10K events. Fun Run: Participant Medals 5K Fireman’s Challenge: Traveling trophy awarded to the first-place fireman in the 5K, Fireman Challenge Runners will compete in full fireman gear, including oxygen tanks. Fireman challenge participants will be able to participate in medals based on their finish. T-Shirts will be available to all runners that register before the appropriate deadlines: June 7, 2025 Age Group Medal Awards: Age Groups: 20-25, 26-30, 31-35,36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71-75, 76-80 Date: Saturday June 22, 2025 Place: Argos Community Park 560 W Walnut street Argos, IN 46501 Start times: Fun Run 8:00 AM 5K: 8:30 AM 10K: 8:15 AM All participants registering by will receive a race T-shirt. There are no guarantees on shirts or sizes when registering past this date. Online registration ends June 21, 2025 race day registration and packet pick up will be available at 7:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2025 prior to your race. Race volunteers will be available along the race route providing guidance along with mile markers . Water stations are also available along the 5K and 10K routes One Mile Fun Run: This course is a paved path which winds throughout the Argos Community Park. 5K: This is a beautiful flat fast course that travels an out and back loop through the Town of Argos. 10K: This course is a flat and fast course winding through the Town of Argos, and through the beautiful countryside of Marshall County Runners can park their vehicles within the Argos Community Park, (please use the south park entrance from state road 10 ) About this Race: This race is to support Argos Dollars for Scholars. Argos Dollars for Scholars is a not for profit organization comprised of volunteers. Argos Dollars for Scholars raises funds to support scholarships which are awarded to graduating Argos Seniors that wish to pursue a secondary education. Argos Dollars for Scholars is a not-for-profit organization, and your contribution is tax deductible. You are supporting a wonderful organization focused on promoting education and trade skill development.. You are running this race at your own risk to illness and injury. We ask all participants honor social distancing guidelines. If you feel ill, have a cough, temperature or any other signs of potential illness please do not attend this event.
