April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. One in three girls and one in four boys are sexually assaulted by someone they know and trust. This creates a vulnerability that sexual predators prey upon. We are addressing the important issues of human exploitation that affects many people. Our mission is to spread awareness and fundraise for solutions we have identified. Our 2nd Get Outdoors for Freedom Spring & Summer Series event will be April 11, 2026 with a staggered start. A 5:00 am start for 20 mile trekkers and an 8:00 a.m. start for 10 mile trekkers, both from Fish Lips Waterfront Grill. This is not a race, but a community event to gather outdoor enthusiasts to RISE together to help bring awareness and end the sexual exploitation of others.
