Soldiers Freedom Outdoors 5K and 1M Run/Walk Saturday, October 10, 2026 Liberty Park 268 N Apopka Ave, Inverness, FL 34450 Join us for the 4th Annual Soldiers Freedom Outdoors 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk at Liberty Park in Downtown Inverness! This event is being held as part of the PTSD Awareness Month and proceeds go to the Soldiers Freedom Outdoor, an organization that help active duty and service veterans in our area. Enjoy this Fast and Flat fully paved course on the Withlacoochee Trail. All participants will receive a custom finisher medal , awesome event shirt and commemorative bib . Gail joined the board of directors in 2012 and has said “the privilege of serving on the Board gives me the opportunity to give back to all of our military. As a daughter of a career military father I realize the sacrifice my Dad made while serving our country.
