The Evolution of the Solstice: For the past two years, the PR Run Club 2mph Summer Solstice Challenge was our way of honoring the longest day of the year through relentless movement. It was gritty, it was tough, and it was the foundation of our club. But this year, we’re widening the path. We’ve evolved the challenge into the Solstice 21, because our mission is bigger than a single race; it’s about the movement of our entire community. From June 1st to June 21st, we are virtually trekking from the river to the road—starting at the river entrance to Belle Isle and finishing at the front door of our shop in Midlothian.
