The Steamworks Half Marathon will take place in the San Juan Mountains on Saturday June 6, 2026 . This high-elevation, 13.1 mile race will take place at 6,500 feet above sea level. The course is a point-to-point route and has been certified by USATF!. Runners will run down county road 250, alongside the beautiful Animas River. The race will finish at the Durango Fitness Club on Florida Road. After the race, enjoy an awesome party by the pool at Durango Fitness Club with food and drinks from Steamworks Brewing and Homeslice Pizza. The race is capped at 250 runners and it will sell out, so be sure to register as soon as possible. The race will begin at 7:30 am(new start time this year 2025)!!! , with an additional start time at 7:00 am for those who need longer to complete the course.
