This fast, out-and-back course begins at the intersection or Franklin Street and Alabama Ave, near Thorsby High School and follows County Road 37 South, passing open fields, charming historic homes, and even a historic cemetery. The route features a gentle incline on the return, making it a perfect course for personal bests. The Check-In tent will be set up at Richard Wood Park. The morning kicks off with the 5K at 8:00 a.m., open to runners, walkers, and even leashed furry friends. Afterward, kids can join the Fun Run inside Richard Wood Park, creating a family-friendly race day for all ages.
