On June 3rd, We Run Together. Global Running Day is our holiday; a celebration of the activity we love and the sport that brings our community together. We’re inviting all runners and walkers to join us on June 3rd to mark the occasion, set a goal and cross the finish line. We encourage you to bring your family, friends, and neighbors. We want to see the whole community participate because, seriously, running together rocks. What you can expect: It's on a Wednesday—who couldn't use a mid-week pump-up? Finisher medals. Not just any medal. A very cool, make-your-friends-jealous medal (see image below). Proceeds benefit the Knox County Parks and Rec Youth Scholarship Program.
