All three perished. After she confessed to the murders, she was sent away to the Toledo Asylum and then later moved to the Lima State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. There she lived her final days until age 61. Ceely was buried on the hospital grounds, but many say her ghost remains at Malabar Farm.
