Race-Day Registration Opens at 6:30 AM Come support the Western Albemarle community and the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department who serves the 14,000 citizens of Crozet and the surrounding areas of Afton Mountain, Ivy, Whitehall and Batesville. The Crozet Volunteer Fire Dept. (CVFD) has proudly served the Crozet and surrounding community since 1910. CVFD is a hybrid station comprised of approximately 45 operational volunteer members and a crew of Albemarle County career firefighters. Our volunteers respond to over 1,000 calls annually, covering an area over 147 square miles. 2026 CVFD 5K Shirts are available to registrants if registered by April 12th!
