Fitness Racing might be the new thing, but we have been here for 4 years already! Infusing a classic 5k with functional fitness movements, we have created a fun and challenging race to put you to the test! If you are training for a Fitness Race, this is an excellent way to test yourself! Each athlete will complete a 5k split into running sections divided by various fitness tests! All fitness movements are meant to be VERY accessible to all fitness levels. The "Competitive" division will have set weights, box heights, etc for men and women. The "Here for a Good Time" division will allow athletes to choose the weights, heights and movement scales that work best for them throughout the event! Participants may run or walk or any combination of the two for the distance of the 5k.
