The Fox River Challenge takes place at 108 High Circle in Wrightstown, Wisconsin on May 9, 2026. This duathlon and running event offers two distances: a 19-mile option and a 3.13-mile option, giving participants flexibility based on their fitness level and race goals. The event starts at 8:05 AM, allowing time to set up transition areas and warm up before the gun goes off. Entry fees range from $30 to $60 depending on registration timing and distance selected. Athletes should plan their pre-race logistics accordingly given the early morning start and the dual-sport nature of the duathlon format, which combines running and typically cycling segments.

The 2026 Fox River Challenge is scheduled for May 9th starting at 8:00 AM in Wrightstown, WI. The start/finish is located in The Fox River District right along The Fox River and the initial leg of the race, the out-and-back 5k run, will follow the beautiful eastern shore on Hwy ZZ. This leg of the race will also be open to individual run/walk participation in the Fox River Challenge- 5k only. This is the same route as last year. Duathlon participants will begin at approximately 8:05- right after the announcements and National Anthem. All 5k run/walk participants will start 10 minutes later to give the Duathlon participants a head-start in order to avoid transition clustering. The 2nd leg of the duathlon will transition through the start/stop arch and go up and over the bridge. The 15-mile bike will follow the western shore of The Fox River on Los Dauphin Road into Little Rapids & De Pere.
