NEW EVENT! The Homer Parade Mile. Lead the Homer Davenport Community Festival parade! The Homer Parade Mile is Saturday morning, August 8. Runners will "lead" the parade by running the parade route through downtown Silverton, being cheered by the thousands of people lining the parade route. The start will be on North Water St. near Silverton Middle School and finish just past Roth's Fresh Market on North First St. Combine The Homer Parade Mile with the Homer's Classic 5k on Sunday to see who is the overall mile/5k winner. Here are the Homer Davenport Community Festival Race options: 1 Mile run: Saturday, August 8, 9:45am start time. Runners ages 0-12, $5 Runners over 13, $10 Day of registration ends at 9:15am. 5k run: Sunday, August 9, 9:00am start time. $25 until May 1: $30 May 1 - August 8 (online registration ends at 5:00pm) : $35 day of race.
