The Iger Fund 5K: Hosted by The Be Kind Project – Hartford, CT 2026

This is the first annual Iger Fund 5K: Hosted by The Be Kind Project which is being held in an effort to promote awareness around the connection of mental health and homelessness in Connecticut. Both The Iger Fund and Be Kind Project were born from a shared realization that compassionate mental healthcare is critically underfunded and too often treated as an afterthought. Mental health care is unfortunately not a high-profit industry, which results in the people who need it most being frequently underserved and discharged without the support necessary to truly continue healing. As IOL staff, we believe this must change in an effort to promote a full journey to wellness. The race will take place on the Institute of Living Campus. Registration will begin at 8:30am and the official race will start at 9:30 am.
