To race on a course on the Monmouth Battlefield is to run through the site of the Battle of Monmouth fought on June 28, 1778, a pivotal engagement in the Revolutionary War. This is a National Historic Landmark, the highest level of recognition bestowed on our nation's historic sites. This is not just a race, it's become a runner's right of passage. Chip timed, with a live video stream and online tracking, finish line pictures and video, well marked course with support stations at every mile. The four loop 3.27 mile course for half marathoners, 2 loop 3.1 mile course for 10K runners, and one loop 3.1 mile course for the 5K runners is fan friendly, tree lined, beautiful, fun, and challenging.
