The Tidewater Striders Duathlon Welcome to the 7th Annual Tidewater Striders Duathlon! RACES: Sprint Duathlon - (2 Mile Run- 12.4 Mile Bike - 2 Mile Run) Novice Sprint Duathlon (Multi-sport Beginners who have competed in less than 4 multi-sport events). The same distance as the Sprint, this race will be run at the same time as the Sprint. Novice Participants will not qualify for Age Group awards. Kids Mini Duathlon (1 Mile Run- 5 Mile Bike Ride -1/2 mile run) Bike Racks will be available and ready race morning by 7am TIME LIMITS: Sprint --- The race starts at 7:30 AM. Kids Mini starts at 9:15 am. 3hr time limit for the sprint, 2 hr time limit for the mini COURSE: Out and back course on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake. FLUIDS AND FOOD: There will be 2 aid stations.
