This third annual 5k run/walk is in memory of Treven J. Ball , who passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2022, from Sepsis. He was ten years old. September is Sepsis Awareness Month and also Treven’s birthday month (19th), so we’re gathering to honor his life and raise awareness of this dangerous disease. This race will follow trails between the beautiful, historic French Lick Springs Resort and West Baden Springs Hotels . Treven was an amazing young man. His heart was full of pure love, his speech full of kindness, his character pure gold, and his smile…well, it could shine through any face mask. He filled the room with laughter and entertainment wherever he went. He was never short for words, a joke, or an unexpected hug. To know Treven was to fully know what it means to love without limitations. All proceeds from this race will go to the Treven Ball Memorial Scholarship fund.
