The University City Memorial Day Run takes place each Memorial Day in University City, Missouri. Begun in 1974 by a few interested joggers, over the next Fifty-One years it has grown into one of the most popular and largest family races in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The University City Memorial Day Run provides runners of any level with an exciting and fun experience. The 10K and 5K runs are the main event but there is also a fun run for the whole family. Cool off after your race! This year, your Memorial Day Run bib number is good for one FREE admission to University City’s Heman Park Pool only on race day, May 25th. At 52-years-old, the Memorial Day Run is just a youngster compared to University City’s historic WPA-era swimming pool!
