Virginia BBQ: Redbird Run 5K Walk/Run – Virginia, IL 2026

Registration and Packet Pickup Race starts at 8:00 am. The packet pick-up/registration will start at 7:00 am with the table at the Virginia High School entrance. Online registration will be closed at this time. Parking is in the Virginia School lots or parking lot or near the ball diamonds. General Information Redbird Run is a fun 5K run and walk hosted during the Virginia, IL BBQ. The Virginia BBQ is a small town festival with the support of a dashing community. To go along with our race, Virginia BBQ will have a pageant, vendors, parade, carnival rides, and tons of entertainment from June 5-7. The Virginia Cross Country Team will be hosting this exciting event. The Virginia Cross Country Team consists of fifth - twelfth graders from both Virginia and Triopia schools. From August to October, the athletes participate in 25 meets around the central area. Last year, we had two Jr. High athletes (one male, one female) compete in the State Meet in Normal, IL.
