April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month — every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal. WALK IN MY SHOES TALLAHASSEE - SAFETY FAIR ONLY DATE: Friday, May 1st, 2026 TIME: 5:00 PM LOCATION: South Adams Street between East College and West Jefferson) Join us for a FREE, family-friendly block party packed with fun to celebrate the conclusion of our walk across the state! Enjoy hands-on activities, kid-friendly games and giveaways, interactive safety-education booths, and community partners sharing resources. Families can also visit with law enforcement and fire rescue — plus crowd favorites like face painting, a bounce house, snow cones, therapy animals, music, food, and more!
