2026 Results can be found here . Wolfpack Multisport is hosting an event to honor Wayne A. Burlison. Choose from 3 events! Kids Race (9am start) 3.17Mile (10am start)- why 3.17? That's the number of months and days Wayne lived after his diagnosis. 10K (10am start) A portion of the proceeds from this event will be contributed to the following: Wayne A. Burlison Memorial Scholarship, established in 2014 by Wayne’s wife and son. The scholarship is administered by the Albion Alumni Foundation Orleans Community Health Foundation , which is committed to enhancing local healthcare by securing essential funds to support Orleans Community Health and its mission. The Foundation will use the funds from the race to make colonoscopies more accessible and affordable to patients. The race path takes the runners into the Mt. Albion Cemetery, with rolling terrain and beautiful scenery. The historic Mt. Albion Cemetery is a rural cemetery established in the 1840s on a glacial drumlin (landforms composed primarily of glacial till). In 1976 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district. As you run, you will pass Wayne's site, energetic volunteers to cheer you on, and an amply supplied water station. If you are not up for a run, we would still love to have you join us for the walk on our 3.17mile course. The 10K course is two loops- the turnaround just before Clarendon Road.
