We Love Homewood 5K, 1 Mile, and Fun Run Join us for the annual We Love Homewood 5K, supporting the fine arts in Homewood City Schools. From the starting line to the finish, this event promises fun, community spirit, and the chance to challenge yourself on a course through the beautiful Edgewood neighborhood. Race Events: We Love Homewood 5K Enjoy chip timing for accurate results. The course winds through the friendly streets of Edgewood, with enthusiastic neighbors cheering you on. 5k Course Map: Click HERE Awards include hand-painted ceramic medallions—unique and exclusive to this race! Start Time: 7:30 AM | One-Hour Cut-Off Awards: Top Masters Male/Female Top 3 Overall Male/Female Age group awards (9 and under through 75-79, in five-year increments). TIMED 1 Mile Run TIMED results for competitive runners 5-13 years of age. Participants will follow a bike leader to the turnaround under the Dawson Memorial Baptist Church catwalk.
