Whether you walk it or run it, just keep going! – Springfield, TN 2026

In 2023, Tennessee lost 1,279 individuals to suicide . Even one life lost to suicide is one too many. The Robertson County Health Council is passionate about suicide prevention awareness and together we are hosting the "Whether you walk it or run it, just keep going!" 5K to increase suicide prevention awareness and promote organizations that can support individuals experiencing mental health challenges and/or thoughts of suicide. Through our collective effort, we hope individuals in Robertson County find hope, healing, and the strength to just keep going! You may notice the cost of this race is set at $12.79, this is intentional to remember the 1,279 Tennesseans who died by suicide. Join us on September 12th for the "Whether you walk it or run it, just keep going!" Suicide Prevention Awareness 5K and help us spread messages of hope, resilience, and that help is available.
