Welcome to the First Annual Kukini Keaahala 5K Welcome to the First Annual Kukini Keaahala 5K , sponsored by Hui Mākua o Pūʻōhala and Ke Kula Kaiapuni ʻo Pūʻōhala . This inaugural race marks a milestone year for Pūʻōhala as we celebrate our first graduating class of seniors under the Castle High School Kaiapuni Academy , while continuing our commitment to student leadership, health, and wellness. The Kukini Keaahala 5K will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 , beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the campus of Windward Community College , which also serves as a part-time campus for Pūʻōhala high school students. All proceeds from the race will support the students at Puohala, including both the kaiapuni and english programs papa M-12 . all of which promote student wellness and healthy lifestyles in the Kāneʻohe community. In the interest of safety for our keiki, a second start time has been added for the Haumāna Haʻahaʻa (Elementary School) and Kamaiki (Pre-School and younger) participants. These
