25th Hammerman Triathlons & Duathlon – Anchorage, AK 2026

About This Event The Hammerman Triathlon/Duathlon is TWENTY FIVE Years Old this year! With this benchmark, we are changing it up a bit! This year the course will consist of a 500 yard lake swim, a 9 mile mt bike course and a 2.2 mile trail run. We will be offering a 1 lap of all Sprint event, along with a 2 laps of all Long event! The Team event will only be offered in the 2 laps Long course affair, and the Duathlon will be a Solo only 1 lap offering with a 1 mile opening run instead of the swim. The course is still very challenging, very hilly, with lots of single track and several technical sections. Only mountain bikes are to be used, no cyclo-cross bikes, hybrids or similar, no electric or motorized bikes and no drop bars are allowed. The 2 laps Solo affair is meant for the heartiest of souls with some solid experience in the dirt, and is only open to participants 18 years and older (without race director approval).
