SASS STRUT stands for Seriously Awesome Stroke Survivors Strutting To Recover Uplift & Thrive . THE SASS STRUT IS AN ANNUAL 5K FUN-RUN EVENT TO INCREASE AWARENESS ABOUT STROKE AND RAISE MONEY TO FUND STROKE REHAB IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. In 2016 Neuro Therapy Nashville started Seriously Awesome Stroke Survivors (SASS) as a dynamic support group for stroke survivors, their family, friends, caregivers, and others in the stroke community. We are excited to announce that this year the 5K will support the Brain Injury and Stroke Charity of Tennessee (BISCT, pronounced biscuit), a newly formed local non-profit that provides funding to stroke and brain injury survivors who cannot afford treatment, as well as providing caregiver respite programs. With your support, we can reach those with immediate need right here in Nashville.
