The Ocean State Crossing draws top Challengers from across the nation to set out on a 15 mile paddle & row navigation challenge across iconic Rhode Island Sites - Fort Adams, Newport Harbor :: Point Judith Lighthouse. This event hosts paddlers & rowers of multiple disciplines, fundraising & celebrating Summer Safe Ocean State culture! The Ocean State Crossing end points are Fort Adams Beach In Newport Harbor & Roger Wheeler State Beach in Point Judith. The Crossing direction will be based on weather conditions with the preferred route being Point Judith to Newport.
